PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN) concluded 2025 with a Zero Fatality record across its mining operations, marking a significant milestone in occupational health and safety performance. The achievement reflects the company’s structured approach to risk management, with safety systems embedded into daily operations through procedural compliance, regular audits, and real-time monitoring. These practices are aligned with Good Mining Practice standards and Indonesia’s SMKP framework, ensuring that potential hazards are identified and controlled before incidents occur.
This performance was reinforced by the application of eight non-negotiable safety principles governing critical behaviours, from operational competency and permit controls to energy isolation, working at heights, and vehicle safety discipline. Throughout the year, AMMAN strengthened its safety culture through initiatives such as safety stand-downs, safety awards, and leadership-led inspections, while holding business partners to the same safety standards. Supported by both strong governance and technology-enabled monitoring, the Zero Fatality achievement demonstrates that large-scale mining operations can prioritise safety while sustaining productivity and long-term operational reliability.
