Indonesia has taken another major step toward improving mining transparency with the launch of the MinerbaOne application by Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia. The platform enables mining companies to submit their Work Plans and Budgets (RKAB) online, aligning with the government’s new policy that shortens the RKAB validity period from three years to one. The regulation, outlined in Ministerial Regulation No. 17 of 2025, aims to ensure more agile oversight and strengthen accountability across the Indonesia mining transparency framework.
According to ESDM Ministry official Tri Winarno, the MinerbaOne system represents a milestone in Indonesia’s digital transformation of the mineral and coal sector. The platform integrates various upstream processes into one digital ecosystem designed to streamline bureaucracy and promote good governance. Winarno emphasized that MinerbaOne reflects the government’s concrete effort to build a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable mining industry — positioning Indonesia mining transparency as a global benchmark for responsible resource management.
