The Indonesian Mining Professionals Association (PERHAPI) for Central Kalimantan formally confirmed its 2025–2028 regional management in an event held at the Hall of Aquarius Boutique Hotel, Palangka Raya, on 11 January. The inauguration was conducted alongside a Seminar Sharing Knowledge session themed “Bersama PERHAPI Manggatang Utus di Bumi Tambun Bungai” and marked a renewed commitment to promoting ethical, professional, and sustainable mining practices. The ceremony was led by PERHAPI’s national leadership and attended by representatives from academia, industry practitioners, and government institutions across Central Kalimantan.
The newly appointed Chair of PERHAPI Central Kalimantan, Johannes Dahiang Heru Utama, emphasised that the organisation’s direction will be guided by local wisdom values such as Isen Mulang, Belom Bahadat, and JITE KEBA in overseeing responsible mining governance. Following the inauguration, the knowledge-sharing seminar featured speakers from leading mining and supporting companies, offering insights into innovation and best practices within the sector. Through this programme, PERHAPI Central Kalimantan reaffirmed its readiness to support a new chapter of responsible, culturally grounded, and sustainable mining development in the region.
