Video Surveillance

Monitor All Locations in Real-Time Anywhere

Imagine being able to monitor all of your locations in real-time anywhere in the world for very little cost and as easy as logging onto the internet. Locate and plug internet-enabled cameras directly into your computer network and pick up the broadcast anywhere in the world over the internet using a regular web browser. All for very little investment!

CCTV video surveillance systems are commonly thought of as “security surveillance”. In reality, CCTV surveillance plays a part in everyday life. Today, worldwide, video surveillance systems cover towns and city centres; bus and train stations; car parks and public property; industry and office environments; roadways and rails; shopping malls and amusement parks… The applications are endless.

No longer do companies need to be limited to expensive CCTV equipment restricted to local monitoring. SNCTechnologies provides an easy solution for surveillance starting with the camera – a great way to provide:

  • Security
  • Remote monitoring
  • Real-time capture of events
  • Visible deterrent to criminals and traffic violators

Many industry jobs pose high risks to employees who must monitor operations. Surveillance cameras can minimise that risk by providing the eyes needed to watch the operation of equipment and employees in real-time. This type of industry uses surveillance cameras to watch equipment; if something goes wrong, the incident has been recorded, can be analysed, and used to assess where there might be bigger problems.

Keep an eye on business with SNCTechnologies video surveillance solutions.

How it Works

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a video surveillance system using video cameras to transmit a signal (which is the image/video) to a specific place to be viewed on a set of monitors.

Internet-enabled cameras are directly plugged into the computer network, capturing and sending images back to the main surveillance monitoring computers displayed on the monitor(s). The broadcast can be picked up anywhere on your network or anywhere in the world over the internet using a regular web browser. The security of the system is assured. No longer do companies need expensive CCTV equipment limited to local monitoring.

Only authorised personnel can receive the broadcast. View multiple locations at the same time. Plus, remote zoom, pan, and sound are possible to enhance the system and monitoring capabilities.

Internet Protocol (IP) Remote Surveillance provides all of the CCTV capabilities and more at a fraction of the cost compared to using analog technology.

Traffic Uses

Commonly known as the red light camera, these video surveillance systems can be linked to automated ticketing systems – eliminating the need for an officer to watch certain roadways for speeding, intersection, or parking violations!

Manufacturing, Warehouse and Office

Imagine being able to monitor all of your locations in real-time, anywhere in the world, for very little cost and as easy as logging onto the Internet. Manufacturing, office, warehouse, and industry can now be managed remotely!

Schools and Institutions

More and more CCTV or video surveillance systems are being installed in schools, universities, and other institutions to monitor visitors, track unacceptable student behaviour, and maintain a record of evidence in the event of a crime. Surveillance in classrooms lets principals monitor teaching, which is a good tool for teacher and student evaluation.

Public Transport

There are many reasons why public transport should be monitored, but safety is the primary reason. In developed countries, the surveillance of public transportation vehicles, stations, and terminals is just a matter of good business. Video surveillance is relied on to protect the safety of the public, prevent criminal activity, vandalism, and theft, deter crimes against drivers, serve as evidence in case of an event, and provide visual coverage for areas out of line of sight.

Retail Control

In all retail environments, there are opportunities for theft and other criminal activity. With profits being squeezed, retail owners have to be clever to maintain good profit margins. Profits are directly affected when employees steal, customers steal, or goods that are delivered are not received through the company system. There are many ways these events can take place. A video surveillance system can help prevent loss in any retail environment in the shop, the back storeroom where inventory is kept, or receiving dock—wherever a second set of eyes is needed.
