The SatNetCom team just recently completed the installation of their MineTrack fleet management system for PT. Indo Muro Kencana (IMK) at their Kalimantan Tengah mine site.
This version of MineTrack uses rugged Android tablets in the trucks, and a VHF network to send GPS location, activity, and payload updates from the trucks to the servers and control room.
MineTrack VHF is ideal for mine sites that don’t have a clear line of sight to the towers, due to the landscape or terrain. The MineTrack system installed at IMK consists of the truck units, a base transmitter station, repeater units, and the servers. The system gives them real-time production, activity, and tracking data.
