PT Tambang Raya Usaha Tama (TRUST), a subsidiary of PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) recently completed the installation of SNCTechnologies’ MineTrack fleet management system at their coal mine in Melak, East Kalimantan.
The system was initially installed on 28 trucks. Then, another 33 trucks were later added. It uses a combination of a Wifi and GSM communications network. The trucks haul material from the stockpiles at the pit and then to the port.
MineTrack produces comprehensive production data that can be monitored in real-time by both the dispatch control center and managers on their laptops or handphones.
The system features an automatic interface to weighbridges. MineTrack has options that include in-cab CCTV cameras, driver fatigue monitoring, tyre monitoring, engine monitoring, fuel monitoring, and more.
